The DFO website has been a bit slow updating catch results lately....but here are the last 4 gillnet catch results

We'll do another tabulation on steelhead impacts shortly to try and figure out the latest tally.
The total Area 4 gillnet openings now stands at 11....just one short of the 10 year average. Time to wind down this fishery, especially with Kitwanga sockeye timing coming into play.
The gillnet openings from the 27th onwards are utilising the so-called selective method of short net/short set.
