Didymo....'rock snot'




Here is a link to some great info on didymo....the clingy 'rock snot' covering most streams in Skeena nowadays.

The images are from a Skeena tributary with didymo in the lower to mid reaches but not in the upper reaches. Anglers travelling between stretches of river should try to follow the advice presented in the link article to slow down the spread of didymo.
