Areas 1 & 2
Pink assessment continues, particularly in Masset Inlet, for the possibility of
a seine opportunity. Next announcement Friday, August 13.

Areas 3, 4, & 5 (Skeena/Nass)
Assessment of coastal pink streams continues, with no commercial surplus
identified.

Area 6
Pink salmon assessment continues, no commercial surplus.

Chum egg take is currently underway for the Kitimat hatchery. No surplus
available.

Assessment of coho abundance is underway to determine any opportunity for an
Area 6 coho troll opportunity. No opening at this time.
