Area 3
Kwinageese sockeye are weak and management measures such as reduced days and closures will consequently be in place from July 8th to July 28th. No gill net fisheries planned until after the 28th.
Area 4
Assessment continues in Area 4 but the estimated Skeena Sockeye run size has been decreasing. No fisheries currently expected if the escapement at Tyee does not increase.
