Seines open 16 hours, from 06:00 hours to 22:00 hours Thursday July 28 in subareas 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-7, 3-9, the portion of 3-12 within 1.0 nautical miles of the Pearse Island shore, and 3-17. Min bunt mesh 70 mm. V.O.# 2011-NCSAL-21.

This seine fishery is being conducted with pink and sockeye retention only and with non-retention and non-possession of chinook, chum, coho and steelhead. Fishers are required to release all chinook, chum, coho and steelhead to the water with the least possible harm.

When moving between areas with different non-retention and non-possession rules a seine must offload all fish prior to fishing in the area they are moving to.

NOTICE TO ALL SEINE FISHERS:

All fisheries are being conducted with non-retention non-possession of coho, Chinook, chum and steelhead. Fishermen are required to release all coho, Chinook, chum and steelhead to the water with the least possible harm.
Operating revival boxes are mandatory and may be used to revive fish prior to release.
