Thanks for all your effort and really informative data. Comparing to last year do you know how early commercial salmon fishing was ended this year?
In 2007 in Area 4 Skeena for gillnets the last day was August 3rd (316 boats). Gillnetters only fished 6 days in 2007
For seines it was Aug. 17th....but had really tapered off in effort as only 3 boats too part. The last major opening prior to that was Aug.10 when 24 boats took part.
Seines fished a total of 11 days in 2007.
