Tyee Test Fishery Index

Well, in yet another coincidence...the Tyee steelhead Index shot up on the 28th just after several days of commercial openings (22, 24, 27) ended. And it was a good sized jump in numbers...Look at the google gadget for reference...This would seem to verify the anecdotal information of lots of steelhead being caught in the commercial fishery.
They take a day off and voila....a big pulse of steelhead show up in the Index. The steelhead Index now stands at 33.60....the 4th best this decade for this time.
